As a Lead HVAC Installer, you'll take ownership of residential HVAC installations and support your team in delivering work that meets the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
Lead and perform installations of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures
Wire low- and high-voltage components to heating and cooling equipment
Install copper refrigerant lines with brazing and soldering techniques
Install sheet metal and flex ductwork in residential homes
Safely connect gas lines to heating systems
Assess installation requirements and pre-measure job sites for material accuracy
Receive, verify, and load materials and equipment for each project
Support teammates to ensure projects are completed on time and with excellence
Accurately complete all job-related paperwork and documentation
Interpret and record equipment readings with full understanding of their implications
Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
5+ years of HVAC installation experience
Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring installation techs
High school diploma or GED required; EPA certification preferred
Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service, time management, and troubleshooting abilities
Integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic
Mechanical aptitude and deep familiarity with HVAC systems and components
Self-starter who works well independently and within a team
Professional appearance and demeanor
Valid Washington state driver’s license
Physical ability to climb, kneel, crouch, and lift as needed on the job
